UGH!...........................

I can't stand the slowness of weight loss. I have been working out everyday for the past month and guess what. I have lost a whole whopping 2, count them 2 lbs. Can I scream now. I have been watching my calories, eating only 1200-1400 calories a day. I would love to just blink and have this done and over with. On the positive side I have definately increased my ability with exercise on my recumbent bike. I started with 6 miles on my recumbent bike in 30 minutes. Now I am doing 12 miles in 43 minutes, so I guess that is a step in the right direction. I am finding that I really love resistance bands. I use them while I am biking and they really are helping me feel my abdominal muscles working. I really like the feelings I am getting when I exercise. I have never had an issue with knowing exercise is great most of the time. It is in all reality getting my butt out of bed or off the couch and just starting. Once I start I have a contest with myself to see if I can finish either faster or with more tension(resistance). I figure I am really going to have to start focusing on the food, if only they could make carrots and celery taste like ice cream and cake. Like that is ever gonna happen. I can dream.

It's Begun......

Well I have finally come to the understanding that I am completely capable of achieving the goals and ideals I am after. I know that it isn't going to be easy and that I am going to have days that everything will be to difficult, but the time has come for me to have no more excuses. It is my start of a new life. My goal is to lose about 80 lbs. in the next year. Here are my starting stats.......


Weight: 226 lbs.
Bust: 47 1/4 in.
Waist: 40 in.
Bicep: 15 1/2 in. (flexed)
Thigh: 28
Hips: 54 1/2 in.
